Dennis's car on Lead East T Shirt!!
1929 Ford 2dr Sedan
My 1929 Ford has been in the area as a street rod for the last 28 years. It
first appeared in 1969 in the lower Eastern New York area and had "Charlie
Brown" on the side. Since then, I purchased it in 1977 and made many
updates. It was repainted in 1980 Two Tone Blue centari. The front end is
corvair with a pinto rack&pinion. Olds tilt & tele column. Engine is Chevy
355/350 HP with a 350 trans. A 1959 Ford 9" rear with 3.25 posi. Also has AC
and the usual comforts inside, reclining seats, SW gauges, AMFM tape. I've
put many miles on it since 1977 and it has always been faithful to me. I've
been all over our great country and seen the best sites. Oh, and yes, the name
Charlie Brown is still on the car..
As the New Jersey State Safety Rep for NSRA, I want to extend an invitation to
all street rodders to come and take advantage of a free safety inspection.
Look for our team where ever there is an NSRA safety inspection advertised in
North Jersey. It's worth the price and the peace of mind is most rewarding.
It doesn't hurt to have another set of eyes check out your street rod.
Remember, we do this every year.
